The Rocky Mountaineers Motorcycle Club of Colorado has evolved considerably since it began in 1968. Our membership has changed too. Some members have developed other interests, some have moved away, many have grown frail, and many have passed on.

The club has lost a lot of members over the years, unfortunately we haven't had much success attracting and retaining new and younger members. It breaks our collective hearts to admit we simply don't have the people power to hold GFR this year.

We thank everyone who has attended the Golden Fleece Run over its many years and made it so successful. We hope to be able to resume the run sometime in the future and look forward to seeing you again then. In the mean time, remember to keep the shiny side up and the rubber side down.

For those of you who may not know exactly what GFR is - the Golden Fleece Run is an outdoor "motorcycle run" which in reality is a big campout!  People do ride their motorcycles up to the campsite, others bring their 4-wheeled vehicles, while others bring the RV's, campers, etc.

GFR is not like other camp-outs... for the registration fee, the Rocky Mountaineers MC provides an ALL-INCLUSIVE weekend!  We provide 8 restaurant quality meals (yes, we basically take a whole industrial kitchen to the mountains), all the soda, water, beer you can drink during the weekend, and we have provided for various cocktail parties throughout the weekend for you to enjoy.  We even have HOT SHOWERS!!!
